Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChunkyBits ("the App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Description of the App

ChunkyBits is a retro-style photo filter application that allows users to apply visual effects to images on their device. The App operates entirely on-device and does not require account registration or login.

In-App Purchases

ChunkyBits offers optional in-app purchases ("IAP") to unlock additional features or content. These purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

In-app purchases are managed through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform. By making an in-app purchase, you also agree to RevenueCat's terms of service.

All purchases are final. Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store platform (Apple or Google). We do not offer refunds directly.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ChunkyBits for personal, non-commercial purposes on your mobile device, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any of its content
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App

Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, software, and other materials in the App are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any photos you process through the App.

User-Generated Content

Photos processed through ChunkyBits remain on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. You are solely responsible for the photos you choose to process and any resulting images you share externally.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ChunkyBits is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
